Global Blockchain Hackathon - Coding/Developer Team

• Identified problems:
- Organizations such as ICO, NGO, Churches, Kickstarters, and Crowdsourcing startups maintain their own secret ledgers of actual receivables and payments.
- Donators/Investors may never understand how the proceeds are being used.
- Without public scrutiny, proceeds and expenses have a very high degree of risk.

• Suggested solutions:
- By integrating bank records and storing data to a permissioned blockchain, Aud.it creates transparent records and real-time funds tractability of donations, expenses, and contracts with vendors, which removes the possibility of fraud and simplifies compliance regulations.

• Created an application that provides:
- Real-time transactions update, modular design, and payment auditing
- Monitoring and validation of transcations, blocks, and small constracts
- Notification of user non-compliance
- Permission based access using Hyperledger Fabric
- Supervision and validation of remediation
- Enforcement of consensus

Team Members: Yvonne Wang, Martin Huang, Randall Huynh, Joel Labelle

- Coding engineers and developers tend to lack social lives.

• Solution:
- A dating App innovating at the Social Media level with developers in mind.

• What it does in the backend:
- Combines both a match environment and a friend chatting environment.
- Scans a MYSQL database of people to show people in the area who are down to chat.
- Allow users manually add friends and talk to both through unique ids (given by Facebook but also dynamically assigned by MYSQL).
- Login only with a verified facebook account on a HTTPS secure connection.

• Technology:
- MySql (Add friends to database and store chats
- TalkJS (Create a live chat environment)
- Handlebars (Create HTML templates)
